Beloved, we are chosen of the Lord to be agents or catalysts of change, just as salt and light are. Salt is essential for maintenance of our health and bodily functions, it enhances the flavors of food, it preserves, has antimicrobial properties and much more. Light is needed for us to see, when light comes darkness has no place, light brings out that which is hidden or done in darkness, light causes people to see things as they are, and light is also often associated with life.

A born again, Spirit-filled believer is likened to salt and light. One who brings forth positive and Godly changes in our life, our family, our friends, our neighbourhood, our workplace, wherever we are or whoever we may come across, through the working and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord our God, the Spirit of Christ Jesus - is the third person of the Triune Godhead, He is God and He is Lord.

It is through allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us to bring about our Godly transformation that He can also work through us to bring about the positive and Godly influences to the people around us and our surroundings! All Glory to the Lord our God that He would work with us to fulfil His plans and purposes on Earth, Hallelujah!
