Beloved, in the world, happiness is a temporal emotional state of the soul that changes with experiences; the world offers countless ways to experience happiness but most if not all passes quickly and gives no true satisfaction. However, joy, true joy comes from the Lord, it is a fruit of His Holy Spirit, which is deeply rooted in our Spirit if He dwells in us and if we abide in Him.

This joy is unchangeable regardless of the physical environment and it can then be expressed as happiness, having our emotions already been sanctified and set apart in the Lord. This joy is also a fruit of our eternal and inseparable union with our Creator, which our being is at home and finds true purpose and contentment as we progress with Him in life, even into the timeless realm, such is the hope of glory we have in Christ.

Therefore, let the love, joy, peace, hope and all the goodness of God be evident in our lives; in-keeping with a thankful heart, having the right mindset and always thinking the right thoughts by keeping the wrong ones out, subjecting our soul and body to our renewed Spirit in the Lord, living out the new creation life in the Lord so that our transformation is noticeable, inspiring others to want what we have for themselves and thus, they be led to the Lord too!
