Beloved, sin became an inherent problem of mankind since the fall of Adam and Eve, and Jesus Christ came as the solution. To truly identify with Christ, we need to fully give ourselves over to Him, this is needed in order to experience the fullness of God’s will, plans and purposes for our lives. Christ came not only to deal with sin and death, but also to unhook us from all the systems of this fallen world (including religion), which is controlled by the devil behind the scenes.

It is written in John 8:32 & 36 that “you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” and “if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”, by abiding in God’s Word and in Christ (by His Holy Spirit) we will experience the Resurrection Power of God working in our lives, freeing us from the devices of the devil that he works through people and the world to get at us. In this freedom, we will experience the Glory and Power of God manifested as the Holy Spirit is able to have His way in our lives, fulfilling the Will of God for each of our lives here on earth as it is in heaven.

The enemy will try to hinder or oppose us (our renewed spirit in Christ) through our soul (mind, will, emotions) that is tuned to this fallen world, it is a battle that often starts with our thought life, that’s why we have to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ and remember we are not helpless, for greater is the Holy Spirit who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)! That’s why when we die to self, willing ourselves fully to God, living a crucified life to follow Christ, we gain life more abundantly through His eternal Spirit!
